FAQ's
Q. How do I book an appointment?
A. You can book an appointment using the book appointment button above or clicking the link here.
Q. When should I start shopping?
A. We recommend you start your dress shopping journey 12-18 months before your wedding date.
Q. Do you cater for curvy brides?
A. Yes we do! We have plenty of stock in store and no size is an issue with us here. If you are really nervous for your appointment why not give us a call and have a pre appointment chat to calm your nerves?
Q. What deposit is needed to order my dress?
A. We ask for a 50% deposit to order your dress with us.
Q. When is the remaining balance due?
A. Your remaining balance would be due when you first try your dress on in store. This is either your "My Dress has Arrived" or your "First Fitting".
Q. How many guests can I bring to my appointments? Can I bring children?
A. We limit the amount of guests to your appointments to 4 purely for you. When the room is crowded it can sometimes be overwhelming for the bride. However, if you do want to bring a few extras please contact us to let us know and we will be more than happy to see how we can accommodate you.
Yes, of course we allow children. As a family run business we love seeing your little ones in store. Our only request is that there is an adult with them that can keep them company so they don't hurt themselves in store. Please note that sometimes children can be overwhelming in the appointment so if you feel you may be distracted it may be best to find childcare.
Q. What do I need to bring to my New Bridal Appointment?
A. For your New Bridal Appointment, we ask you to just bring your nearest and dearest to help you find the dress. You don't need shoes if you don't have them. Shoes are only required during your first and final fittings 6 weeks before your wedding. If you already have shoes please feel free to bring them along.
Q. When do I choose my accessories?
A. You can choose your veil and accessories as early on as your New Bridal Appointment when you say yes to the dress. However, speak to your stylist as sometimes we recommend doing this at your "My dress has Arrived" or "First Fitting" appointment. Our accessories and veils take as little as 1-2 week to arrive. (Please be aware, that some designers do take longer to arrive)
Q. I want to loose weight before my wedding. When should I start shopping?
A. Don't worry! This is the most common query a bride has when saying yes to the dress. We would recommend still shopping during the recommended 12-18 month period and discuss your weight loss with your stylist. Here they will give you all our options on what to do specifically for you.
Q. I have said yes to the dress in your store, what next?
A. Congratulations! All of your next steps are in your bridal wallet. However, the detailed description of your next steps are now here on our website. Please click on the 'I SAID YES' tab above or click here.
Q. I get married really soon. What are my options?
A. Don't panic! We have two options for you. If your wedding is over 20 weeks away we can get you a brand new dress in store. However, if it under this we have a beautiful 'off the peg' range of ex sample dresses waiting for you. If the last one is you just book an off the peg appointment and fill out the short interview on your confirmation email and we will find you the dress. If you wedding is over 20 weeks away book a 'New Bridal Appointment' and we will be able to order your a new dress from our current selection.
Q. My budget is under £1000. Do you have anything for me?
A. Yes! Our 'off the peg range' of ex sample dresses are all under £1000. Just book an 'off the peg' appointment using the button above.
Q. Is there parking?
A. Yes, we have limited parking outside our store. However, it is a residential area so as long as you do not block anyones path or pavement, you should be able to find parking easily. We do ask if you are unsure on the area to leave a little earlier. If you arrive early we have a lovely cafe next door in which you can enjoy before your appointment.
Q. I have cancelled my wedding and have a dress with you, what do I do?
A. We are sorry to hear you have cancelled your wedding. If you could please email us at natalie@natalieannbrides.com to let us know and we will go through the next steps.
